OUR FOURTH YEAR OF OFFERING YOUR SUMMER MULESTAR CAMP - this is for anyone who will be in grades 1 thru 8 next year and who wants to work on their skills to be a better player - whether a beginner or having played for multiple years - we focus on making the youth player better - we will have lots of counselors and 6 lax walls (rebounders ) this year - good lacrosse players are made in the summer so come work with us in June - dont hesitate to call or write with questions

MulesSTAR lacrosse camp for 2012 - grades 1 thru 8; 8 sessions 5.30 - 7.00p
Tues and Thurs every week in June
$100 registration payable to San Antonio Lacrosse, Inc.
One and One instruction in the basics - real lacrosse for those who want to really play
June 5,7,12,14,19,21, 26,28

During the month of June we will give a MULES BASICS CAMP meeting every tuesday and thursday at HOWARD where we will work on basic skills ( wall ball, passing and catching, ground balls, shooting, scrimmaging, understanding proper defensive checks, proper faceoff ) LOTS OF INDIVIDUAL COACHING ( same as we have done in past years )
Players will be divided into two groups - YOUTH (incoming First thru 5th graders) and MIDDLE SCHOOL (incoming 6 thru 8 graders) All players need complete gear including helmet, mouthguard, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, cleats, stick if possible - beginners will be given lots of extra instruction - this is the time to learn the game

- FINAL GAMES 5/6 for this season -  - go to our youth section for more info on the program and how to register, how to become a coach etc. WE NEED MORE YOUTH COACHES - PLEASE VOLUNTEER TO HELP

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO AS SUPPORTERS OF MULES LACROSSE -
BUY SOME GEAR - go to the gear section of the web site and take a look at the fan shirts etc. we have now for sale; get your son a yard sign; get yourself one of the new POLOS we have
SPONSOR THE TEAM - your donations make it possible for us to charter buses for the teams, feed the kids right on trips, etc. MORE THAN 1/2 of the entire budget is covered by donations so do whatever you can - all donations are extremely appreciated - especially now that we have so many kids playing
DONATE YOUR TIME we need help with the role of videographer this year , we have a great camera and are ready to go - donate yourself to video one game for us ; agree to help at the score keepers table ; lots of ways you can help and all are important and appreciated

U CAN'T PLAY IF YOU DON'T REGISTER _ systems are up and running and you can pay by credit card this year so get it done early - all players need to be registered before season starts please

Boys - Three Age groups

Youth Team - elementary grades thru and including 5th grade

Middle School Age Boys - (Grades 6,7& 8) - Any school

High School Age Boys - must attend Alamo Heights High School

Practices
See schedule section for more information. Practices are held at our new practice facility at the Howard Early Childhood Center this year.

Season
Season starts at the end of January for the High School & end of February for the Middle School. Most games will be during the week. Practices for the High School will start in December and Middle School will start in February.
